Δύο ασφαλιστικές εταιρίες ( μια ανά κλάδο, των γενικών και των ασφαλίσεων ζωής) από κάθε χώρα ανέδειξε και φέτος το World Finance ως κορυφαίες. Στη σχετική λίστα συμπεριλαμβάνονται η Ελλάδα και η Κύπρος.
Συγκεκριμένα, στα World Finance Global Insurance Awards 2016 από την Ελλάδα στον κλάδο των Γενικών Ασφαλίσεων αναδείχθηκε η Interamerican και στον κλάδο ζωής η ΝΝ Hellas, ενώ από την Κύπρο ξεχώρισαν στον Κλάδο των Γενικών Ασφαλίσεων η Royal Crown Insurance και στον κλάδο των Ασφαλίσεων Ζωής η CNP Cyprialife.
